PARAMOTOR TRIKE
TRAINING COURSE PT-2 Level
Note:
The training will be conducted on your own equipment- trike
and paraglider. The following fees is instructional charges
only.
Eligibility conditions for Paramotor Trike
Training Course PT-2 level:
1. You should have successfully completed
the Basic Paramotor Trike flying Course PT-1 level.
2. You should have completed at least 8 hours of trike flying
and minimum of 25 take offs and landings.
3. Passed the Paramotor Trike PT-1 Examination.

Note:
1. People who are above 50 years of age will be required to
pay an extra amount of Rs. 2000/- (Towards extra coaching)
2. People who are over 85 kg will be required to pay an extra
amount of Rs. 2000/-(Since bigger gliders are required and
longer period to learn)
3. Progress of the course will primarily depend on the aptitude
of the students. Weaker students may take longer time to get
trained. If necessary, one extra session over and above the
regular session, may be provided at the school's cost. If
more than one session is required then the student has to
pay Rs.3000/- per session thereafter.
Intermediate Trike
flying Course ( PT-2 level )
Course Duration: Four days
Venue: Plain grounds around Hadapsar, Pune. INDIA.
Time of the day: Either morning 7:30 to 10:00 or Evening 4:30
to Sun set
Duration per day: Two to three hours
A Certificate will be awarded at the end of successful completion
of the course
Day-wise training syllabus (Trike)
Day One
First day is spent on familiarisation and reinforcement of
what you have learnt in the previous course. Class room lecture
will be conducted for explaining specific theory pertaining
to Trike advance flying. A brief on care and maintenance.
Synopsis of the course to be covered. Flying skill test.
Days learning:
1. Reinforcement of previous learning
2. Cross country theory
3. Care and maintenance
4. Video clippings
5. Flying Skill test
6. Skill test for duration flight
7. Wide circuit and landing practice.
8. Long approach and spot landing
Day Two
On the second day you practice short out and return flights.
What precaution to be taken before attempting cross country
flying. Special tips on cross country flights. Two out and
return cross country flights.
Synopsis of the day's learning;
1. Theory of cross country flying.
2. Pre-flight checks for cross country flights
3. Revision of the tips on cross country flights
4. Precautions on cross country flights
5. Out and return cross country flights
6. De-briefing and understanding the next session task
Day Three
Third day you attempt a wide triangular cross country flight.
You'll be taught the various techniques of flying in upwind,
crosswind and downwind. The emergencies procedures during
the cross country flight. Tips on triangular cross country.
1. Theory on triangular cross country flight
2. Flight planning
3. One short distance Triangular cross country flight
4. One long distance Triangular cross country flight
5. Tips and precautions on triangular cross country flights
6. Emergencies on Triangular cross country flight
7. Debriefing
Day Four
Fourth day you attempt an out and out cross country. You
learn the various techniques of making independent out field
landing. Tips on best glide ratios and making the best distance
with minimum effort. This is the most thrilling task of the
entire course. You take off at one place and head to another
destination far from your take off site. How do you plan to
land at an unknown area? What are the precautions, and how
to plan the entire flight is taught on this final day.
The final day brings you:
1. Theory on out and out cross country flight
2. The various techniques on long distance cross country flights
3. Cross country flight planning
4. How to fly the fastest to reach destination
5. How to tackle emergencies enroute
6. The best glide ratio
7. Taking advantage of on route thermals
8. The time and distance factors
9. One out and out cross country flight.
10. Landing at an unknown destination
11. Briefing and analysis on the cross country flight
If you wish to hire the trike for cross country flight after
the completion of the course, the hire cost of one flight
of One hour flying time will be Rs.2000/-. Transportation
and retrieval cost will be @ Rs.10/- per km. You may also
arrange your own transportation.
