A para-sail is a parachute that goes up! It is designed to be towed behind a boat or 4-wheel drive vehicle. The passenger snaps into the para-sail's comfortable harness, signals the driver of the tow vehicle, takes a few steps -- and soars into the air! We use a Jeep for towing up the parasail. With 300 feet as the standard tow rope length, one can expect altitudes up to 150 feet. We have a skilled driver, a two man ground crew, favorable winds, and you're ready.
What are the Safety measures?
A thorough preflight inspection of all the gear is done before every flight. The wind direction and strength is taken into consideration. If necessary a test flight is done by our team member. The joy rider wears a helmet, knee and elbow guards, and ankle protection shoes.
How does one land ?
The jeep operator gradually reduces the pull on the towing rope and allows the joyrider descend gently to the ground. The operator can control the rate of descent of the passenger in flight.
